Mariko Serenity Homes began with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for individuals transitioning into independent living. Our founder recognized that many people—seniors, veterans, survivors of domestic violence, young adults leaving foster care, and individuals with low fixed incomes, individual re-entering society—face significant challenges when finding stable housing that also supports their independence.
Motivated by a passion for helping others live with dignity and self-sufficiency, we started Mariko Serenity Homes as a non-licensed independent living program. Our mission was clear: to provide housing that not only meets basic needs but also fosters personal growth, connection, and community.
From our humble beginnings, with just a few residents and a commitment to individualized care, we have grown into a community where every resident feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. At Mariko Serenity Homes, we believe that a home is more than a roof over your head—it’s a foundation for a brighter, more independent future.
